On a balmy summers day in July, shipmates from the Long John Silver Trust and PROPS joined up for their annual Treasure Island cruise 2017.

Keeping everyone in check was captain Mike (above) from the Bristol Ferry Boat ‘Brigantia’ who as ever, with his able crewgirl, did a great job – avoiding sharks, squalls and shoals, not to mention bridges, barges and other boats – around Bristol’s beautiful docks.

Using their winter fuel allowance (as advised by Ann ‘something of the night’ Widdecombe), Rich and Mo kindly sponsored the event, assisted by Jen and Graham who kindly chipped in for the ice-creams purloined from the SS Great Britain.

A great time was had by one and all, roll on next year!
